Nara Chandrababu Naidu is fiercely campaigning for the upcoming Municipal elections in Andhra Pradesh. His statements and speech, addressing the people of Guntur, has become infamous now, for how he lashed out at the crowd.
Chandrababu called the people of Guntur shameless and selfish. He said that if anyone really had any shame, then they wouldn’t be roaming around carrying YSRCP flags. He also said that he built Amaravati for them and that it is their duty to protect it. Chandrababu said that he doesn’t want power anymore, and just wants what’s best for the people of the state.
What was surprising is that the crowd was laughing, yelling and whistling during Chandrababu’s speech, making it abundantly clear that they were the least bit bothered about what Naidu had to say to them. The crowd seemed like they were being entertained by Chandrababu’s speech, more than anything else.
A few months ago, due to certain controversial statements that Chandrababu made, he lost out on the votes from the Christian community, who were appalled by his comments on them.
Several people on social media and several political analysts are saying that Chandrababu’s campaigns are more likely to drive people to vote for YSRCP again in 2024 than make them want to vote for the TDP. Many people are also saying that Chandrababu has lost his mind and that he’s not sure what he’s saying.
