After completing an intensive seven-day district tour across Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to return to Amaravati on Monday and resume official review meetings at the Velagapudi Secretariat.

The Chief Minister spent the past week travelling across Nellore, Tirupati, Kadapa and Chittoor districts, taking part in a series of development initiatives, foundation stone ceremonies, project launches, MoU signings and interactions with farmers and the public. His visit began on July 1 at Punnapavaripalem in Gudur constituency of Nellore district, where he participated in the Pedala Sevalo programme. During the event, he personally handed over NTR Bharosa pensions to beneficiaries and said the coalition government had so far distributed ₹68,598 crore through pension schemes. He also announced that a Mega Furniture Park would soon be established in Nellore district and reiterated the government’s commitment to completing the Veligonda Project.

Later the same day, Chandrababu travelled to Madanapalle in Satyavedu constituency of Tirupati district, where he laid the foundation stone for Hero Motors’ Global Parts Centre 2.0 along with Hero Executive Chairman Pawan Munjal. The company also joined the state’s P4 initiative in partnership with the Swarna Andhra Foundation. During the programme, scholarships under the “Heroes of Tomorrow” initiative were unveiled.

On July 2, the Chief Minister, along with Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, launched the nationwide VBG Ramji programme from Railway Koduru in Tirupati district. The leaders inaugurated multiple rural development works, including water conservation structures and plantation activities, besides distributing job cards to beneficiaries. The programme will be implemented with financial support from both the Central and State governments.

Later that day, Chandrababu attended the state-level workshop on “Economic Intelligence for Governance” in Tirupati as part of the Swarna Andhra 2047 vision. Addressing policymakers, economists and senior officials, he stressed the importance of data-driven governance, technology and efficient administration in building a stronger economy for Andhra Pradesh.

On July 3, the Chief Minister inaugurated the construction works of the JSW Rayalaseema Steel Plant at Sunnapurallapalle in Kadapa district along with JSW Chairman Sajjan Jindal and Union Minister Srinivasa Varma. The steel plant and its associated renewable energy projects represent investments worth over ₹20,000 crore and are expected to generate thousands of employment opportunities. Chandrababu also virtually inaugurated JSW’s industrial park in Vizianagaram district.

From Kadapa, the Chief Minister proceeded to Kuppam for a three-day tour focused on development and investment promotion. During the “Swarna Kuppam – Investment Summit,” he launched and laid foundation stones for 30 development projects backed by investments worth ₹9,322 crore. The projects include manufacturing units, industrial parks, renewable energy initiatives and infrastructure developments that are expected to create nearly 40,000 direct and over 47,000 indirect jobs. Among the major projects are those involving Adidas, aircraft training equipment manufacturing and food processing industries.

During the second day of his Kuppam visit, Chandrababu laid the foundation stone for a modern bus station and depot to be built at a cost of ₹118 crore. He also resolved a decades-old land issue in Kangundi by distributing DKT land titles to eligible farmers. In addition, he inaugurated CT Scan and dialysis facilities at the Kuppam Area Hospital and launched several civic development projects.

On the final day of the tour, the Chief Minister interacted with poultry farmers, progressive farmers and P4 beneficiary families. He inaugurated an environmentally controlled poultry farm and reviewed modern farming practices. During the interactions, ITC and Vishalakshi Innovations Sustainable Value Chain signed agreements with the Kuppam Area Development Authority to strengthen agricultural marketing and sustainable farming. Chandrababu also said leading corporate groups, including Adani, TVS and Mega, had taken responsibility for supporting around 9,000 “Bangaru Kutumbalu” under the P4 initiative.

The Chief Minister will travel directly from Kuppam to the Velagapudi Secretariat on Monday morning. He is scheduled to review the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) and later hold meetings on the development plans for the Visakhapatnam, Amaravati and Tirupati Economic Regions as the government continues to focus on investment, infrastructure and economic growth across Andhra Pradesh.
