Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu is trying his best to make sure that he wins the 2024 elections, and he’s putting everything in place from right now. He has been touring the state, and negotiating alliances with other parties, particularly with the BJP and the Jana Sena, which were his alliances when he won the 2014 elections. Considering that the TDP lost very badly in the 2019 elections, Chandrababu is said to be making sure that he makes no mistake this time.
Relations between the BJP, Jana Sena and the TDP suffered much in the last few years, but Chandrababu is said to be working very hard to get them on board. However, he is also said to be having a plan B in case the BJP doesn’t get on board. Chandrababu is said to be interested in teaming up with the left parties, along with Jana Sena, if he doesn’t have the BJP.
The CPI and CPI-M have always been interested in teaming up with Chandrababu, and they are said to be interested even today, to team up with him. Chandrababu is expected to take a final decision, on who his allies will be, very soon, and make an announcement regarding the same. While it is impressive that he has two plans in handy, it should now be seen how impactful these alliances will turn out to be for him, in 2024.
