TDP leader and opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu was emotional over the developments in the Andhra Pradesh assembly. He broke down in a press meet today in reaction to the YSRCP leader’s comments on his family in the assembly.
Mr Naidu felt that TDP MLAs and leaders had been insulted since the formation of the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government. He said his wife, Bhuvaneshwari never came out of the house and got into politics. He alleged that YSRC leaders are assassinating the character of the ladies in his family.
CBN said he was very patient for the state and the people. He said he had never seen such developments in his life and did not humiliate anyone in power. “It is not right to make personal criticisms like this. YS Rajasekhar Reddy had earlier insulted my mother in the assembly and later apologized for the mistake,” Naidu said.
Outraged by ruling party leaders’ comments, Chandrababu boycotted the assembly and vowed to not step into the AP Assembly until he became the Chief Minister of the state.
