We already reported that the 10th edition of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) is going to take place in the Garden city of India, Bengaluru, for a couple of days, i.e., September 10th and 11th.
The prestigious awards ceremony is going to be very grand this year as it marks the 10th year for SIIMA. The latest update is that Brinda Prasad, the Chairperson of SIIMA, has signed off the nominations for the movies released in 2021. The nominations will be out tomorrow (i.e., on Tuesday).
The lavish ceremony was started by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Brinda Prasad Adusimilli in the year 2012 to admire filmmakers across the South India film industries. It recognizes and honours the best films and performances from the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films, along with special honours for lifetime contributions and a few special awards.
