There are no friends and foes in Politics. Isn’t it the fact? Yes, it is! Without any drama, the Andhra Pradesh cabinet has approved the resolution to abolish the Legislative Council. The cabinet met at 9:30 AM at CM’s camp office and in this meeting, a resolution was passed and it was unanimously got the nod.
But that won’t do their cause as the resolution has to be passed to the parliament that its approval is necessary for the abolition of the country. For that, BJP at the center needs to support the resolution. Without their will, nothing will happen in favour of YSRCP.
Just here, real politics take place. Janasena and BJP formed an alliance against Jagan’s YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh. More ever, AP BJP leaders say that their party is against the decentralisation bill and also opposite to the abolition of the council. But, this can’t be the end of the story, as you think. And you are correct.
The YSRCP leaders are claiming that they have the support from the centre for the abolition of the council. It seems the YSRCP leaders are in full confidence as they already have pact with the BJP at centre.
Jagan’s party posses 20 odd MPs in parliament which could get handy for BJP at times. So, BJP will make sure that the resolution of AP council abolition will get passed in parliament even though it looks like ditching Janasena. Now, read the very first sentence of this content..!
