One of the defining moments of the Andhra Pradesh election campaign was the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu. This changed the game entirely in favor of the NDA alliance and confined YCP to a meager 11 seats in the polls. However, the discussion now is about the animosity that went into Chandraabu’s arrest saga.
Incidentally, Tadepalligudem MLA Bolisetty Srinivas made a set of shocking allegations last evening in the assembly during the zero hour session. He claimed that Jagan Mohan Reddy had the passwords for the Rajahmundry Central Jail CC Cameras when Chandrababu was arrested.
This comes right after Mahaa News reported that Jagan Mohan Reddy used to watch live stream of the events inside the jail when Chandrababu was arrested.
However, unlike a vague media report or a political accusation, the JSP MLA has made this shocking comment about JAgan having jail camera passwords in the assembly itself. This calls for some serious corrective action. He faulted the former Jail Division DIG Ravi Kiran Reddy for the same.
The JSP MLA added that AP police force was grossly misused by Jagan and this was evident when Pawan Kalyan was stopped from entering AP, Atchannaidu was arrested, and when Raghu Rama Krishna Raju was put through custodial torture.
With these points being brough up in the assembly itself, it shall be seen if the government would constitute an investigation on these incidents and the officers associated wih the same.
