A case has been registered against senior TDP leader and former minister Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu at Guntur district Nekarikallu police station. Koteshwara Rao, a former sarpanch and YCP leader, had lodged a complaint with the police over the remarks made by Ayyannapatrudu at the Kodela Siva Prasad Rao’s Vardhanthi Sabha in Kandlagunta.
In his complaint, Mr Rao said that the TDP leader made abusive comments against the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Home minister Mekatothi Sucharita and IPS officers. He alleged that the TDP senior leader had not only tried to malice the image of the government but also his behaviour created a disturbance to the Law and Order situation in AP.
Tadepalli police have registered cases over the incidents at N Chandrababu Naidu’s residence in Undavalli. A total of four cases were registered against both groups. Three cases were registered based on complaints lodged by TDP leaders. Meanwhile, MLA Jogi Ramesh’s driver Tandra Ramu has registered a case against the TDP leaders under the SC and ST Act, along with the IPC sections.
