YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minsiter YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made many promises in the lead up to the 2019 elections, but upon assuming power, the CM pretty much failed to fulfil any of his promises, with the exception of implementing the welfare schemes, particularly the Navaratnalu scheme. However, this scheme hasn’t done any good to the CM, apart from draining the treasury and putting the state in the worst financial crisis in history.
Jagan has been trying his best to sabotage the situation, but every single step of his has only been misfiring, and the CM now seems to have decided to get back into the picture directly, to sabotage the situation. It is being said that Jagan has decided to personally visit all the new districts, and the people of the districts, from Ugadi, as that’s when the new districts will come into effect.
Jagan is also said to be conducting a survey within his party and is expected to replace 50 sitting MLAs based on this survey, in the 2024 elections. On the whole, it is now to be seen how successful Jagan will turn out to be, after he gets into the picture himself, given that the anti-incumbency feelings have only been developing in the state.
