Vijay Devarakonda is starring in a new movie directed by Gautham Tinnanuri, which is currently in production. Initially, Srileela was cast as the heroine but had to leave due to scheduling conflicts, and Rashmika Mandani will replace her.
This film is a wild drama action movie, depicting the journey of a hero from a police constable to a mafia leader. It’s being produced by Sitara Entertainments as a Pan India project with a significant budget.
Interestingly, there are plans to release this movie in two parts, following the trend of sequels in the Indian film industry. This strategy aims to capitalize on the success of the first part.
However, some movies have faced challenges when the first part didn’t perform well. Given Vijay Devarakonda’s recent film experiences, like “Liger” and “Khushi,” it remains to be seen if “VD 12” will find success on a pan-India scale.
