Tollywood’s Young Tiger, Junior NTR, is currently working on “Devara” after his blockbuster “RRR.” Star director Koratala Siva is prestigiously shooting this movie, which is divided into two parts. The first part was supposed to release by now, but due to an accident involving the villain Saif Ali Khan and the election schedules, the makers postponed it to October.
Now, there is a talk in the film industry that Tamil superstar Rajinikanth will compete with Devara. Rajinikanth is currently working on a film called “Vettayan,” directed by Gnanavel. This movie was recently shot in Telugu states, specifically in Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh.
The makers of this Rajinikanth’s film, produced by Lyca Productions, is planning to release it as a Dussehra gift. Although the exact date isn’t announced, there is a speculation that it will be released on October 11. This will be a tough situation for both the movies especially in Telugu and Tamil states.
During Sankranthi this year, there was a similar competition, and Tamil movies were dropped from releasing in Telugu states. It is to be seen whether a similar situation arises in Telugu and Tamil states. Interestingly, Pawan Kalyan’s movie OG is also scheduled for release on September 27.
