The pre-release event of the upcoming film, Buttabomma, featuring Anikha Surendran and Arjun Das in the lead roles, took place in Hyderabad last night. The movie is an official remake of the Malayalam film Kappela. Siddhu Jonnalagadda was the chief guest for the pre-release event of the film.
Talking about the film, Anikha said that it is a film that is very close to her heart, given that the character that she played in the film is of her real age group, and that every emotion she felt as the character, she felt in real life too. She thanked Sithara Entertainments for giving her this opportunity and siad that it’s been an absolute pleasure working on the film, calling the banner her home banner.
Siddhu Jonnalagadda wished all the very best to the entire cast and crew of the film. He said that he was supposed to have been a part of the film, but couldn’t, unfortunately. He siad that the audiences will love the film, and that they’ll be shocked towards the ending of the film. Buttabomma is all set to be released on February 4th.
