Buchi Babu surprised everyone as his recent film, Uppena won the national award in the best feature film – Telugu category.
The film swept the award against the odds and it has now become a hot topic on social media.
The director of the film, Buchi Babu has now made an interesting comment in this context. He has stated that he had been expecting the national award all along.
“I knew that my film Uppena would win the national award right from the day I was writing the script. It was a pleasurable experience working on the film from the start.” Buchi Babu said.
Buchi added that Chiranjeevi had also said that this film could win the national award. He says that the award win doesn’t come as too big of a surprise for him as this was in the horizon for him from the start.
