Kollywood star Chiyaan Vikram, who was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2, has been injured severely during the shooting session of his upcoming film ‘Thangalaan’.
According to reports, the versatile actor was practising in a rehearsal session and this is when he suffered an injury to his rib. It is said that doctors recommended surgery for the same. Acknowledging the same, Vikram’s publicist said in a note that the actor will take a break from the shooting of Thangalaan for a while. Meanwhile, fans are wishing a speedy recovery to him.
Directed by Pa Ranjith, Thangalaan is one of the most anticipated movies in Tamil cinema this year. Produced by Studio Green’s KE Gananvel Raja, the flick features Parvathy Thiruvothu, Daniel Caltagirone and Malavika Mohanan in lead roles.
