The union budget is being presented by the central finance minister Nirmala Seetharaman today and there are several high-end promises made to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The most significant investment is coming in for the capital region of Amaravati which has been ignored in the last five years in the YCP tenure.
As per the latest announcement from the center, a whopping Rs 15,000 crore has been allocated to the development of Amaravati. The finance minister herself made the announcement a short while ago and it is all over the internet now.
This is the single biggest package announced for the capital region of Amaravati over the last five years and this comes as a huge positive push to the state under the TDP-JSP government.
The center promised continual aid to the state in the due course as a token of upholding of the AP recognition bill.
