Balakrishna made his return to the big screens with Bhagavanth Kesari which is directed by Anil Ravipudi. The opened to poor-to-mixed reviews from critics and common audience alike.
Now, the latest news is that the Balakrishna starrer has yielded losses in many areas as it crashed at the box office after the first weekend, which was powered by Dasara holidays.
The worldwide share of the film is said to be around Rs 55 crores and given the fact that the makers sold the film for higher prices, it led to losses in many major segments.
The exhibitors are said to have lost heavily in the whole transaction as the film just couldn’t pick up the momentum at the box office after the Dasara weekend. It has ended up as a loss venture for everyone involved. This is a bummer from Balayya after Akkanda and Veera Simha Reddy.
