As Andhra Pradesh government is receiving criticisms all over for the stoppage of Amaravati works, Municipal and Urban Development Minister Botsa Satyanarayana came up with an altogether a different version about the issue.
The YSRCP leader said that the state government has not stopped any works of Amaravati, but the contractors themselves have decided to do so, after TDP lost the election. “We did not know what is the relation between contractors and TDP,” Botsa said.
Reacting to his statements, the TDP leaders termed it as the most ridiculous statement from a minister. The opposition leaders said that if the contractors go back after TDP lost, it only indicates that they have no trust in YSRCP government. It is an insult to the people who gave such massive majority to the party, while none of its leaders are aware of the relation between contractors and TDP.

As the state government is running away from the international banks like the World Bank, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), etc., it is receiving criticisms from the opposition parties and also the common public. So, it seems, the YSRCP leaders are just playing the blame game and trying to shift all the blame towards the previous government.
