Until recently, Imanvi Ismail was an unfamiliar name in the film industry. However, her selection as the lead opposite Prabhas in Hanu Raghavapudi’s pre independence period drama, Fauji (working title), has brought her immense attention.
This debut is being seen as a major breakthrough, sparking discussions in film circles. Interestingly, Bollywood producers have also taken note. Reports suggest that T-Series head Bhushan Kumar is eager to cast Imanvi in a big romantic film directed by Anurag Basu, starring Kartik Aaryan.
Bhushan, who is co-producing Fauji, is said to be leveraging his connections to secure Imanvi for this project.
Despite being a newcomer, Imanvi’s demand has high. While her talent remains untested in a large scale film, her dance reels and social media presence have created significant buzz. With Fauji set for a 2026 release, Imanvi could soon join the ranks of top Tollywood heroines.
