The Tirupati Lok Sabha seat is currently empty, owing to the sudden demise of its MP. Various political parties of Andhra Pradesh are trying their best to make sure that they win the upcoming by-elections, and gain an edge in the state.
The TDP has already begun its campaign, and is trying very hard to use the anti-government feeling for its advantage. Now, the Bharatiya Janata Party is also in full throttle mode, with AP BJP Chief Somu Veerraju recently went to Delhi also, and held meetings with JP Nadda, upon who would represent the party in the elections.
It is already known that the Jana Sena and BJP have collaborated for the Tirupati by-elections, so a common candidate would be chosen to represent both the parties for the Tirupati seat.
The BJP is now more fuelled than ever, especially after its considerable victory in the recently held Dubbaka by-election and GHMC elections. The win in Telangana is now being seen as a major potential for the BJP to rally very hard for gaining an edge in Andhra Pradesh as well.
It is reported that BJP would be focusing on the destruction of many temples and Hindu God idols in Andhra Pradesh for the upcoming elections, which would greatly resonate with all the Hindus of the state. It is now to be seen if BJP will be able to recreate the success it received in Telangana, in Andhra Pradesh.
