BJP is on a spree of inducting TDP leaders into its party and regarding this, four of the Rajya Sabha MPs have already shifted to to the national party.
AP state incharge of BJP, Sunil Deodhar is the man behind the national party witnessing a sudden growth in Andhra Pradesh. Earlier he has a track record of making BJP win in Tripura, where the people were strictly against the Lotus party. As there is similar situation in AP, as revealed in the recent elections, where the Lotus party got less than 1% voting share, Deodhar took the responsibility of bring the party into power by the next elections.
Not only to the TDP, Deodhar’s strategies are also sounding threats to the ruling party YSRCP, as the party Chief and Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has several cases against him.
However there is no way Andhrites to get convinced with BJP, without offering the promised special status. So it should be seen how Deodhar manages to convince the people.
