Telangana Minister KTR on Sunday evening launched a Twitter chat with the hashtag #LetsTalkVaccination. In his discussion, the Minister criticized the central government, and he blamed it for giving a late order for vaccines, which is why there is a difference between demand and supply in the country although India is a vaccine hub.
Outraged with KTR’s comments, BJP spokesperson Khemchand Sharma has called KTR an idiot. He was outraged that KTR was spreading false propaganda in the case of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Taking to Twitter, the BJP leader wrote, “You Idiot: India is on top of administrating at least one dose that is about 17.5 crore and overall about 22.37 crore. Why are you serving the half-truth to the people?”
This kind of indecent response from Khemchand Sharma didn’t go well with KTR. But, the Minister replied politely by posting some facts about the vaccination drives in other countries.
In his reply, KTR wrote, “Sir, I too can call you names, but it’s not in my culture to do so. For your information, this is where the world is at. Israel has vaccinated 60% & US 40% of its population. I guess it’s difficult to comprehend for those who don’t want to accept facts.”
