While the concept of three-capital-city model has been receiving criticisms from the opposition parties, it is widely being applauded by the normal public. Especially the citizens of Kurnool and Vizag are overjoyed over YSRCP government’s decision.
Now the concept has also reached Telangana. Adilabad’s BJP MP Soyam Babu has appreciated Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y Jagan Mohan Reddy’s idea and proposed for a similar concept in Telangana too.
Speaking to the media, he demanded to conduct assembly sessions in Adilabad for a balance in administration in both the cities. He said that he had already taken the proposal to Telangana Chief Minister KCR and also informed that they would take it to Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan too.

But in practicality, Adilabad is 300 km away from Hyderabad and is yet to develop in many areas. So conducting assembly sessions over there would be a dream for now. But the day may not be too far, if at all KCR takes the proposal seriously and concentrates on Adilabad’s development.
TDP senior leader Ganta Srinivasa Rao has already appreciated Jagan for Capital cities model and faced the ire of TDP activists. While BJP is tight-lipped about the proposal, it should be seen how are the party leaders going to react with Soyam Babu’s appreciation to Jagan.
