BJP MLA Nandkishore Gurjar registered a complaint against Bollywood actor-producer Anushka Sharma for utilizing his photograph in Pataal lok webseries in an unauthorized manner. Uttar Pradesh MLA has adviced her better half and Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli to divorce from her for bankrolling the web series. He said this during a discussion with a local reporter and charged her against sedition.
“Virat Kohli desh bhakt hai, desh ke liye khele hai. Anushka ko talak de dena chahiye (Virat is a patriot. He has played for the country. He should divorce Anushka),” Nandkishore can be heard saying in the video.
In the complaint against Anushka, Nandkishore has claimed that he was potrayed negatively, which provokes communal disharmony. He appealed National Security Act to take action against Anushka and prohibit the webseries. The MLA has proclaimed that the show has malicious content that would tarnish the BJP’s image and also instil hatred about India.
There’s a real image captured in March 2018, displaying not only Nandkishore but also UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. A morphed image in which the fictional and nasty politician Balkrishna Bajpayee’s image was superimposed on that of Yogi Adityanath, while leaving Nandkishore’s pic unedited. On the other hand Anushka stated that the webseries already received flak and legal issue for hurting Nepali’s sentiments focusing on Gorkha community.
