The Bharatiya Janata Party is firm on not giving up on hoping that they will win the upcoming GHMC elections, and be able to repeat the Dubbaka by-elections victory all over again.
Union Minister for Environment and Forest, Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar is here in Hyderabad, to campaign for the upcoming elections, and as a part of that campaign, he listed out all the failures of the TRS party in the last 6 years, and released what is now being dubbed as the ‘charge sheet’.
Speaking to the media, Javadekar said that the TRS has done great injustice to the people in these last 6 years, and has not even fulfilled any of the promises it has made in the last elections either. He criticised the TRS for teaming up with the AIMIM, which only led to division in the state. He also said that the Congress and the TRS have only brought division to the state, and that it is only BJP that could bring unity to it.
Javadekar also pointed out the TRS’s failure of being able to transform Hyderabad into a global city. He said that the TRS could not even construct proper drainage systems in the capital city, which led to its drowning in the recent times, because of incessant rains. He added that the TRS could not provide one lakh jobs and two lakh double bedroom houses to the people of its state, despite having promised it in the last elections.
Javadekar said that the Narendra Modi government has built over two and a half crore houses all over India, and that the BJP is the only party that can fulfill its promises to the people, and make sure that the people of the state are happy.
