TRS leader Kalvakuntla Vidyasagar Rao, MLA of Jagittala district Korutla, made harsh remarks against BJP regarding the collection of donations for the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
Why do we need Uttar Pradesh Lord Rama? Don’t we have Lord Rama temples here? He asked people not to give donations for Ayodhya Rama Madhir.
BJP leaders protested against the remarks of MLA Vidyasagar. BJP activists burnt the bogle of Vidyasagar Rao. TRS activists were outraged over this. BJP activists were arrested and taken to the nearby police station.
BJP leaders were incensed at the attitude of the Telangana police. They demanded their immediate release. They also demanded that action be taken against the MLA who made remarks on Lord Sri Rama.
