Actor-turned-politician Khushbu Sundar has filed her nomination for the upcoming assembly polls in Tamil Nadu, which are scheduled to happen on 6th April.
Khushbu, the BJP candidate from Thousand Lights constituency, has declared her assets worth about Rs 22.55 crore along with her election affidavit. As per reports, she has immovable assets worth Rs 17.99 crore, and her husband Sundar C, a noted filmmaker, has Rs 16.57 crore.
The moveable assets of the actor and her husband are Rs 4.55 Cr and Rs 1.83 Cr respectively. She has loans of Rs 3.45 crore and her husband Rs 5.55 crore. The immovable assets of the duo include non-farm lands, residential buildings and flats. The veteran actress also has four criminal cases pending against her.
On the other hand, BJP Tamil Nadu unit president L Murugan from Dharapuram (Reserved) constituency had declared assets worth Rs 1.53 crore while his wife Dr C Kalayarasi has assets worth Rs 1.09 crore.
