The Bharatiya Janata Party in Telangana is rushing towards the GHMC region with the confidence they gained from the Dubbaka by-poll result. They have already divided the GHMC into seven zones and have appointed veteran leaders to monitor the party campaign. In addition they are also getting the services of the reputed election management company who can widely help the candidates in campaigning till the polling period.
The party sources say that 70 is their target in GHMC and this number may vary with alliance of the MIM-TRS. The BJP is targeting 70 divisions and wants to win them by working hard. If there is no open alliance, both parties would help each other and then they have the chance to expose the MIM-TRS link and put the TRS on the defence.
On the other side, several TRS corporators and leaders are very unhappy with the dictatorship TRS rule. So, the BJP is planning to bring in the top leaders from the TRS and Congress. Of course, the BJP is being seen as a potent alternative and post-Dubbak victory. The BJP is firing on all cylinders for these leaders who are waiting for an opportunity to leave the party. So, several TRS leaders might join the BJP in the days to come.
