PVN Madhav, a BJP leader from Uttarandhra, made some sensational comments on the TDP leaders. The Lotus Party MLC said that many MLCs of TDP are planning to join in BJP soon.
If TDP MLCs decides to join in BJP, they will have to resign to the MLC post. But as many MLCs have more than two years term, they may not be willing to do it so early.
Adding to it, even another BJP leader Sunil Deodhar, came up with the similar comments in the past. He said that about 18 MLAs of TDP are soon going to join in the Lotus Party. But nothing of such sort took place till now.
So even Madhav’s comments have failed to acquire any significance among the political circles. It is evident that BJP leaders are only trying to motivate the TDP leaders to shift their focus towards the Lotus party, by making the statements of this sort.

If not today, TDP will definitely have future in Andhra Pradesh some other day, but there is no such option for BJP until it responds positively on special category status. As Prime Minister Narendra Modi several times said that he is not going to grant it under any circumstances and also termed it as a closed chapter, there is no way, BJP is going to many any impact in AP, unless some tremendous wonders take place.
