Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming movie, based on the life of Konda Murali and former minister Konda Surekha, is all set to release on June 23.
Titled ‘Konda’, the movie stars Thrigun as Konda Murali and Irra Mor as Surekha. Produced by Konda Sushmitha Patel under the Shresta Patel Movies banner, the second theatrical trailer of the movie was released on Friday. The 3min 6-sec trailer looks promising, with gripping moments from the lives of the Konda couple.
Speaking at a press conference on the occasion, Ram Gopal Varma said, “The Murali and Surekha characters seemed special to me. Never heard, read, or seen of such characters before. When I found out about them, I researched to make a movie. Meet the Konda family and got moved by their story.”
The movie has cinematography by Malharbhatt Joshi and editing is done by Manish Takur. Anand Kollabathula has composed the background score.
