There has been a fresh wave of Coronavirus in Bihar and chief minister Nitish Kumar has tested positive for the virus.
As per reports, this is the second time that Nitish Kumar has tested positive for Covid-19 this year. The 71-year-old was tested in January this year with mild symptoms and stayed in home isolation.
As per a statement issued by CMO on Tuesday morning, the Chief Minister was ill for the last two-three days. He got tested for Coronavirus on Monday, in which he tested positive for the infection.
The statement further read that Nitish Kumar is in home quarantine at present and doctors have recommended him to take a rest. Meanwhile, the CM asked people who have come into his contact in the last two-three days to get tested for Covid.
