This Sankranthi battle is heated up with the two big releases. In the end, Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikuntapuram Lo’ stood as the Sankranthi winner beating Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ at a good margin. Trivikram once again proved that why his writing skills have a separate fan base.
But there is a common and major defect in each and every Trivikram’s movies which came into discussion among the audience with ‘Ala Vaikuntapuram Lo’ also.
Over Casting….! You will not hear this name in many movies but this has been a problem with Trivikram in his recent films. Picking a bunch of talented artists into the project, raising the expectations into the audience and eventually confining them to a couple of scenes in the script is called OVER CASTING.
In Ala Vaikuntapuramulo, Navdeep, Sunil, and even Nivetha Pethuraj haven’t given a certain role. Especially Navdeep and Sunil, being notable artists in Telugu states, who even did movies as lead actors, they should have been provided with good roles.
Nivetha Pethuraj shares less screen place in the movie except in the ‘Ramulo Ramula’ song.
Trivikram has a very good name for his perfect decision making in selecting versatile artists from other film industries.
But, he must realize that eluding this kind of overcasting will increase the quality of this movie. So, can we expect improvement from Trivikram in his upcoming celluloid?
