The premiere of the much awaited sixth season of Bigg Boss Telugu took place today, with the host, King Nagarjuna, who returned for the fourth consecutive season to host the show, introducing the inmates of this season’s Bigg Boss. Here’s a list of who entered the house, and who they are:
- Keerthy Keshav Bhatt
She is the first contestant to enter the house this season. She entered with the performance of ‘Gandhari’ and was warmly welcomed by King Nag. Keerthy Bhatt is most known to the Telugu audience as Bhanu from the hit Telugu serial Manasichi Chudu. Keerthy also made her debut in the megahit serial Kartheekadeepam, where she can be seen as Hima.
2. Pinky
Sudeepa, most popularly known as Pinky, is the second contestant. She became famous for playing the role of Pinky in the film Ninnu Naaku Nachaavu, in which she was seen alongside Victory Venkatesh. She was also seen in films like Bommarillu, Stalin, Bindass, Mr Perfect, etc.
3. Sreehan
Sreehan is the third contestant of the sixth season of Bigg Boss. He is the boyfriend of Siri, who was a member of the house in the last season of Bigg Boss. He is famous for his short films and YouTube videos with Siri.
4. Neha Choudhary
Anchor Neha Chaudhary made her entry as the fourth contestant of the show. Neha started her career as an anchor, and has carved out a niche for herself on television. She is a national-level champion in the rhythmic gymnastics category, but her interest in the entertainment industry brought her to television. Neha gained popularity as an anchor for the Indian Premier League (IPL).
5. Chanti
Comedian Chalaki Chanti made his entry as the fifth contestant of the season. Chalaki Chanti earned a lot of fans with his comedy timing on television and films.
6. Sri Sathya
Serial actress Sri Sathya made her entry as the sixth contestant of the season. In 2015, she won the Miss Vijayawada title. She was seen in a small role, as hero Ram’s girlfriend in the film Nenu Shailaja. She is now known for serials like Muddamandaram, Trinayani, Ninne Pelladatha and Attarintlo Akka Chellelllu.
7. Arjun Kalyan
He entered the season as the seventh contestant. Arjun made his silver screen debut in 2013 with the film ‘Chinna Cinema’, and has acted in several short films. Arjun is famously known for his web series like Varadu Kavalanu, Upma Tintinindi, Missamma, and films like Playback and Bride’s Party.
8. Geetu Royal
Geetu Royal, also known as Galata Geetu, made her entry as the eighth contestant of the season. Geetu became famous through Jabardast and for her Chittoor slang. The talented actress is also known for entertaining everyone with her humor.
9. Abhinaya Sri
Abhinaya Sri made her entry as the ninth contestant of the season. She made her Tollywood debut with the film Snehamante Idara and became popular with the Allu Arjun starrer Arya, in which she was seen dancing alongside the actor in the song Aa Ante Amalapuram. She was then seen in several films like Swetha Nagu, Attili Satti Babu and Michael Madana Kamaraju. Apart from Telugu, she has also acted in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films.
10. Rohit and Marina
Real life couple Marina and Rohit made their entry to the sixth season as the 10th contestants. Marina became popular as the lead in serials like America Ammayi and Uyyala Jampala. She also won the 2017 Times Most Desirable Woman on TV Award. Marina’s husband Rohit started his career as a model and became popular with serials like ‘Neelikaluvalu’, ‘Abhilasha’ and ‘Kante Kuthurne Kanali’. The couple fell in love during the shoot of a film that didn’t get released and got married in 2017. After Varun Sandesh and Vithika Sheru, they are the first couple to enter Bigg Boss.
11. Baladitya
Baladitya entered the season as the 11th contestant. Baladitya made his entry to the industry as a child actor with the film Edurinti Mogudu Pakkinti Pellam, and has been seen in many films ever since, like Jambalakidipamba, Hitler, Bangaru Bullodu, Hello Brother and Samarasimha Reddy. He was even seen as the leading man in the film ‘Chantigadu’. He received the Nandi Award for the film Little Soldiers
12. Vasanthi Krishnan
Vasanthi Krishnan entered the season as the 12th contestant. Vasanthi was seen alongside Sampoornesh Babu in the film Cauliflower. She was most recently seen in the film Wanted PanduGod, which was presented by director K Raghavendra Rao.
13. Shani
Shani Solomon is the 13th contestant of the house. Shani was first seen in director SS Rajamouli’s film Sye, alongside Shashank and Nithiin, as Shani, their classmate. He later entertained the audiences with different roles in films like Sangharshana, Devadas, Happy, Ready, Okkamagadu, Sasirekha Parinayam, Kinnerasani, Amaran, and Grey.
14. Inaaya Sultana
Inaaya Sultana is the 14th contestant of this season. She became popular overnight with her dance video with controversial director Ram Gopal Varma, and has also acted in a few films like ‘Bujji Ilara’, but did not get much recognition.
15. RJ Suryah
RJ Suryah entered this season as the 14th contestant. Sunkara Suryanarayana, most popularly known as RJ Suryah, is famous for his mimicry skills. He even won a gold medal for mimicry at a program held at Andhra University. He was seen in small roles in films like Garuda Vega and Guntur Talkies
16. Faima
Faima made her entry as the 16th contestant of this season. She is known for her comedy timing, having become famous with Jabardasth and Pataas.
17. Aadi Reddy
Aadi Reddy entered this season as the 17th contestant. He made his entry as a common man into the house, but is quite famous for his reviews on Bigg Boss, which he uploads on YouTube.
18. Model Rajasekhar
Model Rajasekhar made his entry to this season as the 18th contestant. Rajasekhar is known for many films, as well as from the hit serial Manasu Mamatha.
19. Anchor Arohi Rao as the 19th contestant
Anchor Arohi Rao entered this season as the 19th contestant. Aarohi, who started her career as an anchor, is known for her short films and gained popularity with iSmart News.
20. Singer Revanth as 20th contestant
Singer Revanth needs no introduction, as he’s been on the playlists of almost every Telugu audience with his many hit and popular songs. He made his entry as the 20th and the last contestant of this season.
