However, their bond is tested when Krishna’s parents object to their marriage. Can Radha find a way to preserve their love? It needs to be seen in the film.
What about on-screen performances?
After a string of flops, Raj Tarun bounces back with a commendable performance in this film. These types of stories are a perfect fit for him and he passes with flying colours as Radha. However, his acting style had a familiar feel, relying on a few routine expressions here and there.
Manisha Kandkur brought a fun and youthful energy to the screen. She expressed powerful emotions in important scenes and added a touch of glamour to her performance.
Abhirami Gopikumar gave a standout performance as Raj Tharun’s mother, bringing added depth to the character.
Though Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and Leela Samson’s cameos were crucial to the plot, they lacked the impact they could have delivered.
Hyper Aadhi & VTV.Ganesh entertain with their comedy scenes with a few funny one-liners.
Srikanth Iyengar, Racha Ravi, Indhu Preethi, Ammu Abhirami, Goparaju Ramana, Sudharshan, V.Srinivas, Krishna Bhaghvaan & others are okay in their limited parts.
What about off-screen talents?
The story by Sivasai Vardhan had an interesting premise with a good backdrop where the hero is a saree draper who doesn’t get attracted to women.
The screenplay however was half-baked. The premise had great potential to induce more comedy but the proceedings heavily relied on the cliched mother-son sentiment and the routine hero-heroine romance. Though the first half was entertaining, the second half was dragged a lot with unwanted subplots. The whole ashram track and break-up song sequences felt out of place. Though the end has a good message, the emotions in the climax portions are poorly conceived.
Director J Sivasai Vardhan does a pretty good job with his presentation. As both writer and director, he does a commendable job and keeps things very breezy. The comedy is light-hearted and he gives a good message at the end too. Had he had a few reliable subplots that contributed to the main story in the second half, the result would’ve been much better. The dialogues are also well written.
The cinematography by Nagesh Banell is striking. His visuals and lighting choices give the film a good look on big screens.
The songs by Shekar Chandra are breezy and good to hear. ‘Adollaki Amada Dhooram’ is an instant hit and gels superbly with the film’s mood. His background score too is on point and uplifts the scenes when necessary.
The edit by Srikanth Patnaik. R is good in the first half but it could’ve been a bit more crisper in the latter half.
The production values by Ravi Kiran Arts & Maruthi Team are good.

* Abhirami’s Performance
* Hyper Aadi & VTV Ganesh’s Comedy

Verdict: On the whole, Bhale Unnade is an average romantic comedy with breezy humour and a good first half. Raj Tarun breaks his streak of disappointing performances with this film but had the second half also contributed in terms of humour, this would have been a good film.
