It is known that Telugu film producer Bellamkonda Suresh and his son and actor Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas were booked by the Central Crime Station (CCS) for allegedly cheating a financier to the tune of Rs 85 lakh.
After the directions from a city court, based on the complaint of Shravan Kumar, the cops booked the father-son duo under the Indian Penal Code’s Sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), 417, 420 (cheating), and 120 B (criminal conspiracy).
The alleged victim claimed that Suresh and Srinivas took the money in instalments and promised him to make him an assistant producer for Malineni Gopichand’s film.
After the news went viral all over India, Bellamkonda Suresh has now responded to the claims of Shravan Kumar and said that the case registered against him was a part of a conspiracy hatched by some people to harass his family.
Addressing the media, Suresh said that the alleged victim had given no money to him and added that he will take legal action against him.
“They are deliberately conspiring against me and causing trouble for my son. Shravan did not give us a single penny. If there is evidence that the money was given, it should be given to the police. I would file a defamation suit if they could not provide the evidence,” Suresh said.
The veteran producer also added that Shravan is doing all this as part of blackmail and there is a politician behind the latter. Bellamkonda asserted that he won’t leave the persons and he will expose everyone.
