Thalapathy Vijay is presently busy with Beast. The unit had recently commenced the third schedule and the shoot is being carried out at a brisk pace now.
The latest we hear is that Beast unit is gearing up for an all-important schedule that will be carried out in Russian. Several action sequences in the film will be shot in this schedule and the majority of the shoot will be wrapped with this schedule.
The unit will be flying to Russia in September and the schedule will commence correspondingly. Vijay has hit the top gear and he wishes to complete the shooting at the earliest.
Sun Pictures, who are bankrolling the project are planning to release the film in theaters next Pongal season. Vijay scored a box office blockbuster with Master this Pongal season and he is looking to emulate a similar feat next Pongal with Beast.
Pooja Hegde recently joined the sets of Beast and it is unclear if she will be joining the unit in the Russia schedule. The action-thriller is directed by Nelson.
