The Board of Control for Cricket of India has officially announced ‘UPSTOX’ as an official partner for the Indian Premier League 2021.
Notably, Upstox is one of India’s leading and fastest-growing digital brokerage firms. The company is backed by Tiger Global and tycoon Ratan Tata and it has over 2.8 million customers.
IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel in a statement said that the cricketing body is pleased to have Upstox on board as an official partner of the Indian Premier League 2021. He said the firm can make a tremendous impact on the audience, as it is one of India’s fastest-growing digital-trading platforms. This will be a multi-year partnership.
Now, the online brokerage firm will join CRED, Dream11, Tata Motors, and Unacademy as the leading sponsors for the forthcoming IPL season. The richest cricket tournament is slated to begin on April 9, and the final is scheduled for May 30.
