While the movie producers are holding talks regarding their problems in the Telugu film industry, actor-producer Bandla Ganesh released an interesting video on this matter and gave counters in his own style. Saying that he loves Cinema, the ace actor passed some interesting comments about the present situation in Tollywood.
“Many people are complaining that people are not coming to theatres. But think once a different language hero ‘Dulquer Salmaan’ came here and score a hit with Sita Ramam. Medium range hero Kalyan Ram and small hero Nikhil’s films have also become super hits. What we need to know here is that Telugu cinema audiences will appreciate and enjoy movies anytime and anywhere if we make great movies with good story-telling,” Bandla said.
The actor added that it is wrong to think that people will come to the theatres only if the movies are made with thousands of crores of rupees, making cars fly, or giving elevations to the hero. He commented, “As long as we don’t make films that touch the heart and make people sit in theatres, we will be in trouble.”
Bandla Ganesh suggested, “Instead of stopping the shootings and reducing the ticket prices, let’s focus on making good films. Telugu audience will always support and bless us if we make such good films.”
