Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Ruler has completed its shooting and is fast going through post-production works. The film is scheduled for the release on December 20th.
Though Balakrishna’s last two films NTR Kathanayakudu, NTR Mahanayakudu were huge disasters, Ruler has got decent craze in market.
The film has done a business of around 25 Crores just like his last hit Jai Simha. That film is a successful one regarding box office, though it was stroked off as a routine fare.
Now, looking at the teaser of Ruler, we can come to a conclusion that Ruler is yet another routine mass masala fare where Balakrishna will be seen in two different get ups and a lot of fights are involved.
Coming to the business aspects, all areas were sold out for some decent prices except overseas.
Generally, overseas is considered as Balakrishna’s weakest area as his previous flicks failed to attract the audience there.
Only Gauthami Putra Shatakarni managed to cross 1 Million dollars which is considered as benchmark for a decent film there. His other films hasn’t even managed to cross 200K dollars also.
Now citing his previous track record, overseas distributorsm aren’t coming forward to distribute the film even after producers quoted a low price of 4 Crores rupees.
With that producer C Kalyan is coming forward to release the film himself but has asked a distributor to just release the film where all the costs will be by the producer himself.
