Riding high on a hat trick of blockbusters, Balakrishna has set a new milestone with Daaku Maharaj. The film grossed 56 crore worldwide on its opening day, as officially announced by Sitara Entertainments.
Starting with positive talk from early benefit shows in Andhra Pradesh, the film’s occupancy surged throughout the day, especially in key regions like Nizam and Ceded. Daaku Maharaj surpassed the first-day collections of Veera Simha Reddy, becoming Balakrishna’s highest Day 1 grosser.
NBK Fans praised director Bobby’s mass elevations and Thaman’s powerful background score. Despite some minor criticisms, the film succeeded in entertaining the masses during the festive season. Producer Naga Vamsi’s promise of grand action blocks seems to have delivered, attracting repeat audiences.
While Daaku Maharaj crossed $1 million in the US on its first day, its overall success will be clearer in the coming weeks. For now, Balakrishna’s momentum shows no signs of slowing down.
