Numerous Bollywood media portals are reporting that Rajamouli’s magnum opus project RRR is setting a monstrous record in terms of pre-release business.
As per reports from a couple of reliable portals, RRR’s theatrical rights for South Indian languages alone are valued at Rs 350 crores.
Apparently, the makers of RRR have already received offers amounting to Rs 350 crores from distribution houses across South India.
Reportedly, RRR’s Andhra Pradesh theatrical rights are valued at Rs 165 crores and Nizam rights are valued at Rs 75 crores. Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages will apparently fetch another Re 110 crores.
If RRR actually manages to post such mammoth pre-release numbers, it will be the biggest ever south Indian project in terms of theatrical business.
It is already known that RRR is gearing up to hit the silver screen on October 13th and it certainly is one of the most anticipated films of the year.
