Former Minister and Telugu Desam Party senior leader Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu has been arrested by CID Police today at his residence in Narsipatnam. It is said that the police surrounded Ayyanna Patrudu’s house in the early hours and entered by jumping the walls. Reports suggest that the officials issued a notice under section 50A and then took the former minister and his son Rajesh into custody.
Ayyanna has been accused of submitting forged documents related to the demolition of the compound wall of his house. A case has been registered against him under various non-bailable sections.
TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu responded seriously to this incident. “State Chief Minister Jagan Reddy is acting like a monster rather than a CM,” expressed CBN. He said that it is sad to see the arrest of the former minister and BC leader by jumping over walls and breaking doors.
“Since coming to power, the government has been chasing Ayyanna’s family. More than 10 cases have already been filed. Ayyanna’s arrest is to suppress the voice of BC leaders who are questioning the exploitation of Uttarandhra by YSRCP,” lashed out CBN on Twitter.
