Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s highly-anticipated film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s audio album has been receiving a great reception from all over.
All the four songs have become chart-busters and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is now one of the highly anticipated films releasing this Sankranthi.
The makers are planning to release the fifth song, which is a cool folk number, from the album. We heard that this peppy number with Srikakulam slang has been crooned by a desi singer from that region.
A source close to the unit revealed to us that the filmmakers felt this was a better idea than hiring a professional singer.
The film’s music director S.S. Thaman, who recorded the folk song in Ala Vaikuntapuram lo, revealed that it was Trivikram’s idea to rope in a folk singer from Srikakulam to keep things authentic. He said that “We wanted to keep the song natural and rooted.
Explaining how a folk singer would make the difference, Thaman admitted that, “A folk singer’s expressions are straight from the heart; as such, the song has turned out to be genuine, honest and rooted. Moreover, folk singers can bring out subtle variations in the folk tunes that professionals may not be able to achieve.”
The makers have reportedly wrapped up the film’s talkie part and the patchworks are currently going on at a brisk pace. Ala Vaikuntapuramlo is slated to hit the theaters worldwide on 12th January 2020.
