The pre-release event of the upcoming web series, ATM, took place in Hyderabad last night, for which the entire cast and crew of the film were present. Interestingly, the web series’s story has been written by director Harish Shankar, while the direction has been handled by Chnadra Mohan, who previously directed the film Radha.

The web series features actress Divya Vani, Subba Raju, Divi, and many other prominent names in the leading roles. Divya Vani and Subba Raju were present for the event. Director Krish Jagarlamudi and Hanu Raghavapudi also attended the event, and offered their best wishes to the entire team. Speaking about the web series, Divya Vani thanked director Chandu for giving her this role, and said that until now she was known as Bapu Bomma, and now she’ll be known as Bapu Rowdy. She said that the director had extracted different shades of performances from her, something she never thought was possible for her. She also said that it was because of the director that she was able to pull off the Telangana accent that she sports in the film.

Subbaraju thanked the entire team for their support, and thanked director Chandu for the way he portrayed and designed his character in the web series. He said that he is very much excited to see the web series, as he hasn’t been able to do so until now. ATM is set to premiere on Zee 5 on January 20th, and will be releasing in Telugu and Tamil.

Directors Krish Jagarlamudi and Hanu Raghavapudi expressed their happiness in Dil Raju entering the OTT world and wished all the very best to him and Harish Shankar as well. They said that they hope more and more production houses and directors enter the OTT world as there’s a lot of creative freedom in the OTT space, where content that cannot be explored through movies can be explored very well.

Talking about ATM and how it came about to be, director Harish Shankar said that the main reason he and Dil Raju chose to enter the OTT arena was that they wanted to make content that is more creative and doesn’t have to stick to the same norms that a film has to. He said that he and Dil Raju met in person for the first time at the pre-release event, since he had narrated the concept of ATM to him, and pitched his idea of getting into the OTT world. He thanked Dil Raju for trusting in him and giving him this opportunity, and thanked the management of ZEE 5 as well, for their support. He also said that director Chandu has made an incredible web series, and executed his story so well that he may not have been able to make it as well as Chandu did.

Producer Dil Raju said that he wasn’t sure about getting into the OTT platform when Harish told him about the idea, but decided to go ahead anyways, because he trusted Harish’s vision. Interestingly, a new wing of the production house came about with this web series, titled Dil Raju Productions, which is taken care of by Harshit. Dil Raju praised the director and the actors who worked for this film and said that the audience will like the web series for sure.
