Arjuna Phalguna, directed by Teja Marni, starring Sree Vishnu and Amritha Aiyer is set to release in theaters on December 31. Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy are bankrolling the project, while N M Pasha is the co-producer.
While the release date is approaching, the leading lady Amritha Aiyer shared some interesting things about the film, as part of promotions.
“Arjuna Phalguna script is very thrilling. It covers all genres. There will be five friends. I’m one of them. I will come forward to help if friends get in trouble. I loved the point of standing up for a friend even if the conditions were not right,” the actress said.
“Arjuna Phalguna is a village drama. The screenplay is based on an actual incident in Rajahmundry,” Amritha said about the film.
Speaking about his co-star, she said, “This is the first film with Sree Vishnu. At first, I thought he was very reserved. I am also a reserved person. But Vishnu merged very quickly. I learned a lot from him.”
When asked about the output of the film, Amritha said, “I haven’t seen the final output yet. I only saw rushes. The music in this movie is good. Naresh Garu’s character as a police officer is very good in this movie.”
Revealing how challenging her role was in the film, she said, “Wearing a salwar and running through the woods seemed challenging. A bomb was exploded wrongly on set. However, no harm occurred. The caravan does not come over the hills. So, there will be a three-hour journey on foot. It felt like trekking. About 50 percent of the shooting takes place in the woods.”
Speaking about fitness, the young diva said, “I like sports. When I first got into movies, I didn’t know how to maintain fitness. But now I am following the perfect diet.”
