APSRTC employees dream of becoming government employees turned true on the occasion of the New Year. The decision has been made few days back but from 1st of Jan 2020, APSRTC employees are officially government employees.
YS Jagan’s gift to APSRTC employees on the occasion of New Year made their celebration extra special. In few APSRTC depots, employees showed their respect towards YS Jagan by doing Palabhishekam. Among all the employees in AP, APSRTC employees can be considered to be the happiest on the New Year Day.
As per the report, Andhra Pradesh is the first state in the country to convert RTC into a government organization. This process may put some more extra load financially on the government. The prices of the tickets were raised to balance the finances. On the other hand, Telangana state is aiming to push RTC into profits and the idea of merging the RTC into the government sector may not be in place anytime soon.
