We know that Apple Inc has removed, including a charger in the newly launched iPhone 12 series. Although the news was disappointing, the brand lovers ultimately made peace with it.
The latest we hear is Procon-SP, the Brazilian consumer protection regulator on Friday fined the top company for not providing a charger in the iPhone 12 box.
The firm was charged a massive penalty of approx 14.4 crores for deceiving promotion, selling a device without the charger. Apple’s move violated the Brazils Defense Code, according to the watchdog.
Although Apple defended its move, citing the environmental angle, the agency wasn’t satisfied with the response.
The regulator even questioned the firm that it had reduced any price of the new flagship for not including the charger in the box. But Apple didn’t respond to this yet.
