The second wave of coronavirus is spreading very rapidly and is said to be more dangerous and fatal than the first wave. The silver lining this time around is that Coronavirus vaccines are being administered to the population of the country.
More than 6.21 Lakh doses of Coronavirus vaccine were administered by the officials of the state of Andhra Pradesh, on Wednesday. Following this, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is said to have congratulated and thanked the concerned individuals. To achieve such a huge number of vaccinations, there must have been an immense amount of cooperation from people of all concerned departments.
Jagan is said to have requested the conference officials to keep up the good work, and to make sure that at least 6 Lakh vaccine doses are administered in the state from here on. This is said to be carried on until everyone above the age of 45 years is vaccinated in the state.
Jagan is also said to have instructed all the health officials to make sure that an infected person is provided with a hospital bed within three hours of making a call. He is said to have specifically stressed on this point, given that there was a dearth of hospital beds during the first wave.
