Recently, the SEC took seriously the remarks made by the president of the AP employees unions on the local body elections in AP.
SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar wrote a letter to state DGP Gautam Sawang to this effect.
The SEC complained about the remarks made by AP Employees Union President Venkatarami Reddy.
Venkatarami Reddy commented that the constitution gave us the right to take the life of others in case our life was in danger.
Nimmagadda said in the letter that Venkatrami Reddy’s remarks were meant to incite violence. SEC explained that Venkatarami Reddy had threatened to kill others.
However, the SEC suggested that Venkatrami Reddy’s movements be monitored. Nimmagadda asked the DGP to take strict action against him.
