When two political parties are allied with each other, it is very often that they stand by each other, whether good or bad. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case in Andhra Pradesh, with no political party from the state congratulating the BJP for its resounding success in four out of five states during the recent elections.
Even Telangana Chief Minsiter KCR hasn’t congratulated the BJP, but this is understandable, given that relations between the TRS and BJP haven’t been that good in recent years. The situation in AP is completely different though, with the YSRCP and Jana Sena allied with the party, and the TDP trying to once again get into the good books of the BJP. TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has been trying to do everything he can, to join hands with the BJP again, but there are no takers for him.
It came as a bigger surprise that the YSRCP and the Jana Sena also didn’t wish the party, with the AP government’s lack of congratulations turning out to be a major surprise. CM Jagan has been known to have defended the BJP when everyone else was against the party, which is why it is interesting to see why the AP CM hasn’t spoke about it yet. With no one from AP wishing the BJP, it is being wondered if the political scene in AP is about to change completely. It is now to be seen what will happen.
