The Andhra Pradesh High Court today questioned the state government about the oxygen stock in hospitals and asked whether the oxygen production centres are open as per the central government directives.
The High Court questioned how many isolation wards have been set up in the state. The HC asked whether the tests for Coronavirus have been increased.
The AP Liberty Association has filed a petition in the High Court against Covid-19 treatments taking place in the state. The High Court, which heard the case, questioned the government on whether the AP has adequate oxygen reserves for the Covid conditions. Asked how long the existing oxygen reserves would last.
The court asked how many days will it take to obtain a Covid-19 report and what was the condition of a patient if the diagnostic tests are delayed. However, the government explained that it used to take 3 days but now it is taking 12 to 36 hours. After the trial, the court ordered the government to submit all the details to it along with the petitioner council. The court adjourned the next hearing till tomorrow.
